Stutz Blacker
Intrepid seekers of antiques can expect to make bona fide discoveries in Stutz Blacker’s eclectic collection, from cases of real glass eyes (no kidding) and vintage lanterns to Howard Miller Claymour grandfather clocks. Such is the quirkiness of the stock (and the management) at this friendly shop. Spending a Saturday afternoon here might require a magnifying glass and an indifference to dust (not to mention a sense of adventure), but for treasure hunting on the old-school side of New England antiquing, there’s no place better.
